Funeral Service and Funeral Receptions at Cissbury Barns
Cissbury Barns are a truly tranquil and serene venue to hold your funeral service and funeral reception. Set high on the Downs and completely shielded by woodlands, but under one mile from Worthing Crematorium and Durrington Cemetery, it is a unique and flexible space to spend time with family and friends to celebrate the life of your loved ones.
The Barns will be exclusively yours for the time you are with us offering total privacy and a service that is bespoke for your exact needs. Our experienced team are on hand to ensure that your requirements are met efficiently and sensitively at this difficult time. We have excellent catering options starting from £14.95 a head, including vat, from our in-house catering team and a fully licensed bar service.
Personal Touches
We have many additional personal touches that can be included to ensure you can add all the elements to remember and honour your loved ones to include a projector and large projector screen, AV sound system to play downloaded favourite pieces of music for the entire time you are with us. We have a large private car park just a few short steps away from the barns and we are very well situated just a under a mile from the A24.
Funeral Service only in the East Barn - £499
The exclusive use hire charge for a funeral service in the East Barn is £499, including vat, for a 1.5 hour time period. Guests are invited to arrive up to 20 minutes before the service time. It is also possible to hold your funeral service in our beautiful outside ceremonial space overlooking the estate with far reaching countryside views. For a funeral service only we can welcome from 10 to 200 guests.
Funeral service followed by your Funeral Reception - £599 plus catering
After the Funeral Service guest are invited to the West Barn to continue the celebration of life with food and drinks from our in house catering team. Our menus start from £13.95 and we can welcome from 50 to 200 guests for this option. The exclusive hire charge is £599 including vat for a 3.5 hour exclusive hire period which includes the East and West Barn, beautiful brick and flint walled gardens and our fully stocked and staffed bar.
Funeral Reception only at the Barns - £499
If you have chosen to have the funeral service at a crematorium or a church we would be delighted to welcome you to the Barns to celebrate the life of your loved with family and friends for the funeral reception after the service. We offer excellent catering options from 50 to 200 guests and a fully staffed bar. The exclusive hire is for a three hour period is £499 including vat.
If you would like to extend your time with us at the barns this is possible at a charge of £80 per hour including vat.
Funeral Reception at Cissbury House - £499
Cissbury House is available to host a funeral reception after a funeral service has taken place at a crematorium or church. We can welcome from 40 – 100 guests and the exclusive hire charge is £499 including vat for a three hour period plus your catering requirements. We have an excellent choice of menus starting from £13.95 a head including vat and a fully stocked and staffed bar. We have a large car park for all guests just a few metres away from the House.
